A few minutes in, the bad guy who is waiting for his uncle to die and so he tin inherit his riches, says "What I demand are the worst orderlies in the history of nursing intendance!" then it cuts to the Fatty Boys eating cake with their hands, and information technology'southward quickest I've ever seen a moving picture sum itself up. So obviously, this is a great motion-picture show. The sense of humour is arguably too stupid to really work sometimes, but the Fat Boys have so much fucking charisma it doesn't matter. It's as well only delightfully 80s as fuck, and there'due south a scene where they take the rich guy in a wheelchair to a roller rink.

The 80s Christmas 5: Letterboxd's Christmas Holiday
I must have rented this out about a dozen times when I was a child considering when you're eleven there's nothing funnier than a trio of fat blokes taking an old man to a roller disco and slapping each other and falling over.
And it's however quite funny although information technology does expose what a consummate moron I was and am that I still find this funny. I'd love to know what Ralph Bellamy made of it all.

I don't know if I was just in the right mood to laugh or this was really funnier than I expected but this was funny as hell. There are so many moments where I'thousand just cracking up, dying on the flooring laughing. Maybe it'south because The Fat Boys went for this Three Stooges feel and I love The Three Stooges. In fact from the looks of it, this did a ameliorate task capturing The Three Stooges feel than the recent Three Stooges remake. Hilarious slapstick humor with a great soundtrack.

RIP Prince Biz Markie Dee
This is a babyhood favorite. I recall being aroused at my family for non taking me to theater when information technology came out. I had to wait for it to be on HBO.

We lost Prince Markie D nearly two months ago and, honestly, his life should be as celebrated as DMX's. The Fat Boys had a run of striking albums that took hip-hop more than mainstream than ever earlier... maybe likewise mainstream. But The Fat Boys image was so clean, positive, socially conscious and not at all stupid, vulgar or hating. They helped lay a foundation for popular rap artists to get white suburban MTV exposure (particularly young minorities from inner urban center ghettos) and they used their voice to make everyone look good, come together & escape their miseries with music & laughs. Thats essentially how & why hip-hop was created back in 1973 by DJ Kool Herc & Coke La Rock at Bronx house parties.
So…

RIP Prince Markie Dee of The Fat Boys, I've been a fan of their music ever since hearing their have on Nightmare on Elm Street. And then they've been a big part of my childhood and my always growing obsession with Fred Krueger. It'due south such a fun time capsule the days of musicians getting their ain films simply considering their popular, they don't do that as much anymore. I'll exist blasting some Fat Boys in tribute this weekend I tell you lot.

I believe you can conceivably view this as a sequel to Krush Groove. With a lucrative career in hip-hop, the Fat Boys decide to broaden their skills by taking upward nursing care for the elderly, because they're too socially conscious, which leads to Winslow deciding to hire the Fat Boys to be his uncle Albert'south orderlies. It all makes sense.

The film is nowhere nigh as fun every bit its poster implies, and a lot more than needlessly convoluted than its brilliantly stupid title would have you believe, but I've got to give it to the Fatty Boys for their unwavering commitment to Three Stooges slapstick.

This film is quite like to B.A.P.S. (1997) in which Halle Berry and Natalie Desselle plays 2 chicks from the hood who goes to take intendance of an elderly millionaire (Martin Landau) in his mansion.
It's pretty much identical story-wise, only with the rap-grouping Fat Boys becoming the caretakers of the old white millionaire instead (hither played past Ralph Bellamy). Information technology's a bit more stupid, not every bit entertaining and with worse acting however.
The Fat Boys also every bit expected poke alot of fun about them being overweight, merely the jokes aren't that amusing.
It's fairly harmless though but unless y'all're a major Fat Boys fan I wouldn't bother.

Unapologetically dizzy film that basically turns the Fat Boys into an 80's re-imagining of the Three Stooges. And that dynamic works generally. It's a bit of generally harmless fun.

My terminal Anniversary screening of the 24-hour interval is a 30th Anniversary screening of Disorderlies. The Fat Boys were all the rage in the late lxxx's, so I guess information technology was only natural that in that location would exist a star vehicle for them. The plot is pretty elementary. Anthony Geary (who I totally recognized as Luke from General Infirmary) wants to off his billionaire uncle (played past the late Ralph Bellamy) and hires the bumbling Fat Boys as his new orderlies in the off chance that they might off him themselves. This wasn't great simply it wasn't exactly terrible either. It'due south some PG rated fun that's played for mostly goofs and laughs and of grade there are jokes about the Fat Boys…
