No Cooking Peanut Butter Fudge
No Bake Peanut Butter Fudge – The easiest fudge recipe ever! Made with just 4 simple ingredients, this no bake fudge recipe is so tasty and simple to make.
Peanut Butter Fudge
Being a Michigander, fudge is in my blood. I have so many memories of being in Mackinac and getting fudge from local shops that seemed to have every flavor under the sun. While going to a fudge shop is always fun, sometimes I don't have 4 hours free to go up to one so I have to settle for making it at home! Now homemade fudge can really give the stuff in shops a run for it's money because it's just that good and SO easy to make!
Now peanut butter fudge has been something I have been making for years around Christmas or for random parties because one batch feeds a lot of people. It's one of those desserts that is so delicious but you can only eat a piece or two which is great paired with other sweet treats and snacks or as a gift! It's just four ingredients and takes about 5 minutes to make before you stick it in the fridge for a few hours. A word of warning, actually make sure it is fully set before trying to cut it or else the cuts won't be smooth. Just wait the whole time for it to set. I know it's hard but it will make the fudge look much better!
Now you can totally either double this recipe or even make a half batch, it's super easy to adjust! Additionally, it stores well in the fridge or freezer so you can even make it a few days ahead.
Common Questions About Making Peanut Butter Fudge
How do you make homemade peanut butter fudge?
Making homemade fudge is super easy. All you have to do is microwave the butter and peanut butter until the butter has melted before mixing in the powdered sugar and vanilla extract. Then you transfer it to a lined pan and refrigerate for a few hours before cutting and serving.
Can I decorate peanut butter fudge?
Of course! While I didn't in the fudge pictured, you could totally drizzle white chocolate, chocolate, peanut butter, etc or top it with festive sprinkles. Sometimes, I like to cover it with a layer of chocolate fudge so that it becomes buckeye fudge!
What kind of peanut butter can I use?
I used good old JIF peanut butter because I wanted it to be nice and smooth but you could also use a chunky variety. While I think a natural peanut butter would work, I don't think the grittier texture would be great in it.
What other types of fudge can I make?
There are so many fudge options! Some of my favorites include –
- Chocolate Fudge
- Red Velvet Fudge
- Espresso Fudge
- White Chocolate Fudge
- Nutella Fudge
How long will fudge last?
About 3 months in the freezer.
